Snooki compares herself to GAGA....!!!

Snooki gave an interview about her fame, being a top Halloween costume and the Jersey Shore South Park episode.
Here are some HIGHlights:

On being the number one Halloween costume this year:
I think it’s very flattering. Obviously Halloween is a time to scare everyone [Laughs] but if you’re trying to be either Lady Gaga or me, that’s a good thing. Because if I’m up there with Gaga, like I am right now, that’s awesome. I got to see some of the Snooki costumes. I have a fanpage on my Facebook and I saw a lot of girls that look like me. I approve. [Laughs]
On her South Park episode:
Oh my God! I thought it was hi-larious. That freaking hamster…Well, the hamster should’ve been Angelina first of all. Because Angelina’s a dirty hamster. It should’ve been her. I don’t know why I was a dirty hamster, but the fact that the whole “South Park” episode was arranged around me just shows how popular I am and a big thank you to “South Park” for making my head even bigger.
On her catch phrases:
It’s so funny. In season three in Jersey we say so much sh** that’s going to be everywhere; that everyone’s going to catch on to. I can’t give you a preview of any of the new words yet because it just spoils everything. But people saying what we do? That’s awesome.

Detroit Drama! stripper paid $1,000 to perform at Mayor's Mansion......!!

Attorney Norman Yatooma claims that a stripper received $1,000 for performing at a dope-fueled party held at the Detroit mayor's mansion under the supervision of former mayor Kwame Kilpatrick.
An exotic dancer, Tamika Ruffin, gave a statement that she saw Kilpatrick's wife attack a woman with a table leg or board who was giving the former mayor a lap dance.
Yatooma is the lawyer for another stripper killed after the 2002 party. The statement was in response to Kilpatrick and the city trying to dismiss a lawsuit from the family of Tamara Greene, the 27-year-old who was shot to death in 2003 after attending the party. Her family believes that city officials are attempting to suppress the investigation.
No one has been charged and the city denies squashing the investigation.

Netflix changes it up.......

Netflix has decided to offer an online streaming only option for customers.
Since they are becoming predominately internet screening, they are going to start spending more money to license streaming content this quarter than it will on buying DVDs.
Also, if you are someone who likes getting DVDs in the mail, hold on to your wallet, they will be increasing prices! Yikes!
A plan that allows one DVD at a time with unlimited streaming will run $9.99 a month. Their new plan of online streaming content only will be $7.99 a month.
Netflix is gigantic! They are expecting to enter 2011 with about 19 million customers!

Deepika clarifies CONDOM Controversy….

The recent comment made by Deepika Padukone, on Koffee with karen, about she gifting Ranbir Kapoor a condom, has raised a storm in the media.
While on the chat show with karan, during the rapid fire round, some of Deepika’s replies surprised both the host and the co-guest Sonam Kapoor.
When Deepika was asked what she would like to gift Ranbir, she said it would be “a pack of condoms”
The comment was perceived in different ways by the media. But Deepika, in a recent interview said that the comment was made tongue-in-cheek and need to be taken in light vein.
“It’s all in good humour. It’s not targeted at anybody…there is no negativity towards anyone. People need to have a sense of humour. If I go and sit quietly and be politically correct, it would have been so boring,” said Deepika who is quite surprised at all the tamasha over her comment

Warner Bros to make buffy reboot......

OH HALE NO!
This has "bad" written all over it!!!
Warner Bros. has announced that they're planning to remake the Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie that originally came out in 1992 and was later revamped and turned into the critically acclaimed series starring Sarah Michelle Gellar.
The reboot, which is said to hit theaters in 2012 or late 2011, will not feature Buffy in her high school years. Dark Knight producer Charles Roven and newcomer Whit Anderson are said to be remaking the film that will capture the "witty, tough, and sexy" heroine in a brand new way.
We are not liking this. Without creator Joss Whedon or the original cast, we're afraid this has failure written all over it. It's going to have to be pretty spectacular if it's going to impress us.

MAJOR IPad update released 2day! Oprah will be soooo EXCITED....!!!

This has been quite a day for Apple!
First, the iPad was named Oprah's #1 Favorite Thing Ever, and now a major update for the device is being released today!
Here are some of the new features included in Apple's iOS 4.2 update:

- multitasking support
- folders
- a unified inbox
- a Game Center
- AirPlay software, which will allow iPad content to be streamed wirelessly to Apple TV devices and supported printers
- Free access to "Find My iPad" feature

Here's what Apple CEO Steve Jobs had to say about the iPad update:

"iOS 4.2 makes the iPad a completely new product, just in time for the holiday season. Once again, the iPad with iOS 4.2 will define the target that other tablets will aspire to, but very few, if any, will ever be able to hit."

Pretty cool! We bet Oprah can hardly contain herself right now!
