Ashlee Simpson reveals the reason behind her dramatic new ‘Do!

Ashlee Simpson has gone from having long, dark hair to sporting a pretty, blonde pixie cut! The singer/actress told E! that the change was just all about having fun!

“For me it’s a fun change with my hair, I had fun, just a new do, chop it all off, be blond again, good times! Ashlee also revealed that like most of us, she’s ready for the holidays! “I’m obsessed with holidays, I’m, like, ready for Christmas music now, I just get that way, I can’t help it.”

I have to say I’m the same way! As soon as Halloween is finished I’m ready to start singing Christmas carols and hanging decorations! I think starting so early let’s me be happy when it’s over!
Ashlee also revealed that she is planning on recording a new album, but she has her priorities straight!

“I am working on it, but I’m taking my time, my little boy is my priority, I’m having a blast, but sometime late next year.”

It’s nice to see that she’s still planning on making music, but she’s working around her family now. I really like her new hair, although it is taking some getting used to!

Emma Watson talks about the Importance Of School..............

The new ‘Harry Potter; movie is almost here, and with all its success I still can’t believe how grounded its stars are. Emma Watson gave a great interview to PARADE where she talks about how she is putting school first, and how she can be a student and not just Hermione Granger. Here’s a sneak peek!

“I get some amazing offers to act, and sometimes it’s hard to say, ‘No, I’m going to stay here and do my homework.’ People are like, ‘What do you mean she’s not available?’ I may do some theater next summer, but this college experience is really important to me, and I won’t give it up for anything. I’m not going to school just for the academics–I wanted to share ideas, to be around people who are passionate about learning.”
“My days as a student are structured so differently from being on a movie set, where I had people constantly telling me what to do. When you’re filming, someone needs to know where you are every second of the day; here no one tells me what time I can have lunch, when I can go to the bathroom. It’s incredibly empowering and liberating. My friends think I’m crazy because I get so much joy out of really simple pleasures like staying up late talking or deciding to go for a walk. And bagels–they’re the best thing ever! Americans just love variety; there’s so much choice, it’s overwhelming. But I love trying the blueberry and raisin and cinnamon bagels. Luckily, I exercise a lot.”
“The amazing thing is that everyone here is interested in their own lives, so they aren’t nosy about mine. I’m used to people being intrusive and gossipy, but I can be anonymous. My best friend at Brown has never seen a Harry Potter movie or read the books. And one guy I dated didn’t know anything about the films, much less that I was one of the stars, which I found hilarious.”

Beyonce is getting her own comic book....

Sasha Fierce is getting her own comic book! ‘Bluewater Comics’ has a line of unauthorized biography comic books, with other singing sensations such as Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift getting their own comic book treatment, and now its Beyonce’s turn.
MTV.com has images of the comic that is a biography of Beyonce’s career;

Bluewater Comics this January will send its latest biography comic, Fame: Beyonce, to comic-book shops across the country. Readers will also be able to order the comic directly from online retailers such as Amazon.com and Barnes and Noble.com. I guess now that she’s conquered the music, acting and fashion world, it only makes sense that she become a comic book star!

I don’t know about this one – do you think anyone really cares enough to buy a comic book about their favorite singing stars?

     

Lady Gaga goes low key 4 YOGA.....!

        Lady Gaga was spotted leaving her hotel in London, England to head to a Bikram Yoga class. Apparently the singer was distracted by the paparazzi that she missed the door to leave! I have to say we don’t get to see Gaga as ‘toned down’ as this very often, and I like it! Although I have to admit when I go to yoga (ok the 3 times I have gone to yoga) I’m normally in sweats and a ponytail, not with full makeup and updo, like Lady Gaga!

She does look a little different to me though, does it look like she’s done something to her face? Maybe it’s just that she doesn’t have any feathers or meat covering her face that’s throwing me off!

 

Was one of the Gosselin sextuplets suspended from SCHOOL.....???

Uh oh, looks like the trouble between Jon and Kate Gosselin is really starting to affect their 8 kids. We’ve heard lots of reports lately that the kids have had their share of behavioral problems, but now US Magazine is reporting that one of the sextuplets was suspended from school for 2 weeks!
A source tells the magazine that one of Kate’s daughters was suspended for hitting a classmate! Well if this is true you know Jon Gosselin will be all over this blaming his ex-wife and her insistence that the kids remain filming their reality show for their behavior.
The insider also says that Kate yelled at the girl, “You’re embarrassing me!”
I’m not sure if you can blame their parental situation on their behavior, or just the fact that growing up with 8 brothers and sisters can cause lots of kids to be physical. This is the first year that the sextuplets are in school full time so maybe they’re having a hard time adjusting. Either way if it’s true it might be time for both parents to sit down and try to work together for the sake of the kids!

Rihanna lights up London channels Whitney Houston.....??

Rihanna had the honor of turning on the Christmas lights at the Westfield Shopping Centre in London tonight. Rihanna also was due to sign copies of her CD for fans during the event.

The lighting ceremony kicks off the holiday shopping season, as well as “Santa’s Grotto”, where kids can meet Santa in a 3D interactive ice kingdom. That sounds SO cool!

Can I just say that this whole hair bow trend is getting popular. Rihanna’s photos here take me back to Whitney Houston’s videos for “How Will I Know” and “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” – circa 1986-ish? Now I’m going to have those songs stuck in my head all night….
